Herniated Disc?
Avoid Surgery with the Triton® DTS
Spinal Decompression System
Now Available in Toronto at Advanced Healthcare Inc.
- Do you suffer from low back pain or neck pain from a herniated disc(s), degenerative disc disease, facet syndrome, sciatica or failed spinal surgery?
- Have you tried drugs and/or nerve block injections for pain management, physical therapy and/or exercise without getting relief?
- Have you been told "you will just have to learn to live with the pain" or is your doctor recommending surgery?
Medical back specialist, Dr. Hamilton Hall, when interviewed on camera by CBC Marketplace's Erica Johnson on March 26, 2010, points out that approximately 80% of back pain sufferers get better on their own over time with self care such as staying active “with things that work” which may also include exercise, developing proper body mechanics and lifestyle skills such as how to sit, how to stand, how to lift, how to bend, etc., “all those things that people don’t want to hear” ...” Just simple body mechanics, that makes all the difference.”
But, for those chronic back pain sufferers whom are outside of the aforementioned “80%” that get better on their own over time, the option of considering a treatment program of spinal decompression should not be overlooked.
You owe it to yourself to consider highly effective 'Laser Enhanced Spinal Decompression' (LESD) therapy utilizing the Health Canada and USA - FDA licensed and approved Triton® DTS System now offered at Advanced Healthcare Inc. Finally, there may be a non-surgical answer for spinal problems!
Don't risk surgery until you first learn about 'Laser Enhanced Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression' Therapy!
You don´t have to live with the pain anymore!

What is 'Laser Enhanced Spinal Traction Decompression' (LESD) Therapy?
As part of staying on the cutting edge of technology, our office is pleased to provide generally painless, non-surgical LESD therapy using the Triton® DTS Spinal Decompression System combined with Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) also known as cold' laser therapy.
After
a significant amount of research, Advanced Healthcare Inc. chose the Triton® DTS from the Chattanooga Group, the world's largest manufacturer of
rehabilitation equipment. Research to develop the Triton® DTS Spinal Decompression procedure was conducted by prominent physicians, engineers and technicians at major teaching hospitals.
The Triton® DTS has quickly become the gold standard world-wide among spinal decompression and traction (distraction) table systems due to it's sophistication, the flexibility of patient positioning, effectiveness of loading protocols and the time-tested belting system. Decompression tables are a comparatively new, computerized way of delivering this type of traction therapy.
This
relatively new therapy delivery system incorporates a dual stage
treatment approach utilizing two technologically advanced treatments consisting of a combination of non-surgical spinal decompression (a form of traction/distraction which has a long history of relieving pain and helping some people avoid surgery) and Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) also known as 'cold' laser therapy,
delivered using scientifically specific technique protocols for an enhanced, accelerated and unparalleled treatment effect for the following conditions:
- Herniated (ruptured) or bulging discs in the neck or the back
- Degenerative disc disease (arthritic necks and backs)
- Posterior facet syndrome
- Spinal stenosis
- Sciatica and radiculopathy (pinched nerves)
- Failed back surgery syndrome
- Certain knee conditions
- Wrist 'carpal tunnel' syndrome
- Repetitive stress injuries (RSI)
- Neck, arm, shoulder, back, hip and leg pain
Treatment is performed in our office generally without pain, drugs or surgery. All decompression candidates are first evaluated via a full clinical case history consultation and an examination incorporating a chiropractic postural and mechanical examination, an orthopaedic and neurological assessment in order to arrive at a working diagnosis to determine if spinal decompression treatment is right for the presenting patient. Pre-existing medical reports, xrays and MRI studies are also reviewed and taken into consideration in order to determine the eligibility for spinal decompression. Decompression patients are periodically assessed during the recommended treatment program to measure progress in order to determine the future direction of the treatment plan.
We only accept those patients we feel we can help!
Spinal decompression is a clinically proven computerized form of traction/distraction based therapy and a leading non-surgical alternative for
disc related syndromes of the lumbar (low back) and cervical (neck) spine. Recent MRI studies suggest that this therapy is capable of achieving approximately an 86% success rate with reduction of bulging discs.
This therapy gently cycles through distraction (stretch) and relaxation phases creating a negative pressure called “vacuum effect” in the affected
disc(s). This vacuum effect is targeted towards creating an influx of
fluid and herniated disc material back into the disc(s) to
help 'reinflate' them. This also helps stimulate new circulation to
damaged disc structures to aid in the healing process.
During Triton® DTS spinal decompression therapy, patients experience several cycles of spinal stretch and relaxation, which gently graduates to a peak over a period of several minutes attempting to relieve pressure from the discs, joints and muscular tissues while enhancing the body’s natural healing process. Many patients actually fall asleep during treatment!
A patient’s comfort is our top priority, and we want their visits to be enjoyable and successful. Patients are fully clothed and typically undergo 15 to 20 treatment sessions over a period of 6 to 8 weeks, followed by a re-evaluation to determine if any further therapy sessions are required. Each session is actually short in duration, often lasting approximately 20 minutes. This, of course, depends on your individual case determined by a thorough pre-treatment evaluation.
During or following each session, a combination of various physiotherapy modalities such as a cold or heat packs, electronic muscle stimulation/sedation, ultrasound or soft-tissue low-level laser acupuncture therapy (LLLT) may be applied to speed and enhance the healing process. Chiropractic care may also be indicated as well as stretching and strengthening exercises. Core stabilization techniques may also be utilized.
It is important to note that many patients get substantial,
immediate relief after just a few treatment sessions. Some patients
may have a significant reduction of pain after just one session. Individual cases vary. It is
also important to remember however, that pain subsiding does not infer that
your discs and spine are healed, so it’s critical that patients
complete the treatment protocol prescribed by the doctor in order to
achieve the full value of Triton® DTS Spinal Decompression therapy.
The really good news is that this is not something you have to continue to do for the rest of your life! So it is not a big commitment.
We pride ourselves with the fact that our office provides this therapy program for a reasonable fee and having greater added patient value than that which may be charged at other clinics. Triton® DTS Spinal Decompression Therapy may be covered in part or totally by most Extended Health Insurance Plans and Motor Vehicle Accident Insurance Coverage.
To maintain our high success rates, we only accept
those patients we feel we can help!
